Attention EFOG-EBCOG Part 1 aspirants! Here is an important announcement for you. The European Board & College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists (EBCOG) will close the booking window for its EFOG Part 1 May 2023 Exam on April 13. Any OB GYN specialists who still wish to appear for the May 2023 exam should ensure their slots before the deadline.
The European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology conducts the EFOG-EBCOG Part 1 examination primarily to assess the knowledge of the aspirants. Part 1 is a formative assessment that is computer based and conducted online alone. The examination is a remotely invigilated virtual exam (RIVE). Passing the Part 1 examination is necessary to sit for the Part 2 exam.
Scanned and countersigned copies of the following documents must be provided:
Basic Medical Degree Certificate.
Registration with the National Medical Council (licence to practise).
Identity card or passport photocopy.
Proof of clinical experience (submit scanned copies of evidence of each appointment).
Evidence of good standing.
If you are a person who wishes to work in a European country, then passing the EBCOG – EFOG exam will surely give you some extra marks. The qualification also helps the aspirants gain more recognition in their own country.
The European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG), along with its global academic partner StudyMEDIC, announced short term and long term courses to support the EFOG-EBCOG Part 1 candidates taking the May 2023 exam.

Additionally, candidates will have access to comprehensive study materials, including module-wise exclusive preparatory videos, guideline summaries, podcasts, and much more.
As per the recent updates from EBCOG, the EFO Part 1 exam is scheduled to be held on May 13. The result declaration dates have not yet been announced by EFOG-EBCOG. Late applications will not be accepted by the EBCOG.
