How to Apply for the Exam
Information about the online submission of applications for the EFOG-EBCOG Examination is uploaded onto the EBCOG website every year, several months before the exam day. An online application form will be made available, and candidates must fill it out and submit it electronically along with the required documents to sit for the exam.
Who Can Apply for the EFOG-EBCOG Exam?
You are eligible to apply for the upcoming EFOG-EBCOG exam if you meet the following requirements:
- You must hold a primary medical degree and be a qualified medical doctor.
- You must be listed on the Register of Medical Practitioners in your country.
- You can sit the Part 1 Examination after completing at least 3 years in your training program.
- The EFOG-EBCOG Part 2 Examination can be attempted six months before completing your recognised training program, as approved by your national Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society/Authority.
- Once eligible, you must take Part 2 within 3 years. Failing to pass within this period will require you to re-sit EFOG EBCOG Part 1.
- You must provide evidence of good standing from your Medical Council (Regulatory Medical Body), Employing Authority, or Head of Department.
- You must submit proof of your clinical experience and postgraduate training since graduation.
- You must certify that you are not currently suspended or removed from medical practice by any medical authority or institution. You should also confirm that you are not involved in any disciplinary procedures related to your clinical practice—or disclose any pending issues.
- You must have access to a compatible laptop or PC (Windows laptop, MacBook, etc.) which you will need to bring for the examination.
